Mourinho last week flew down to Milano to have talks with Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti about talking charge in Inter the next season. There now are confirmed information that this meeting has taken place and everything points to that Mourinho will take the place as coach for Inter.

It’s true, Mourinho and Mendes were in Milan,

spokesman Eladio Parames stated.

They left Lisbon yesterday and in the afternoon met the Inter
President. Where? I cannot confirm that detail, but there was a meeting
and I can assure you it was very positive.

There have been rumors following this that Drogba will be leaving Chelsea and join Inter at the same time that Mourinho takes charge. This should be one of the demands that Mourinho made. This of course started some rumors about Zlatan’s position in Inter and it seems like Zlatan might be leaving for Real Madrid at the end of this season as Mourinho will most likely want to start with Drogba instead of Zlatan.

Even though Zlatan had a small knee injury Inter Milans coach Roberto Mancini decided to start with Zlatan on top. After 69 minutes of playing Zlatan Ibrahimovic could not continue the match and was substituted.

Zlatan is the best attacker we have and he needs to play as much as possible if we are going to win the league.

One of the fans stated after the match. Let’s just hope that Zlatan does not play so much that he gets so injured that he can not play at all anymore.

In the match against Lazio he played together with Hernan Crespo and had a good chance to score a goal in the 27th minute but the shot was not good and the Lazio keeper Marco Ballotta could easily take it.

The game ended 1-1 after goals from Crespo and Rocchi.

In the match with Inter last night Zlatan left the field after 69 minutes of playing in the match against Lazio. It seemed like Zlatan once again had some problems with his knee. The Swedish national team coach Lars Lagerbäck was interviewed about his feelings about Zlatans current injury problems and said:

It is always sad when people are not well, but we just have to continue working and hope Zlatan gets well.

Since last Tuesday when Zlatan was examined by the Swedish doctor Håkan Alfredson who is a professor in medecine he has an execise program to follow that with 80% chance will make him well without surgery. He did not play in the match this week between Sweden and Brasil and was not intended to play in the match against Lazio but since Inter is having problems with their attackers Zlatan had to start the match.

Since Inter Milan now is going into the final phase of the league and want to claim the league title the rest for Zlatan will most likely be minimal. We can only hope that his knee injury will not get worse.

Inter are 4 points ahead of Roma in the league after the Lazio match that ended 1-1.
