In yesterdays match when Inter played without Zlatan Ibrahimovic there were other persons who stepped up and ensured a Inter win. After the goal less first half Esteban Cambiasso stepped up and put 1-0 in the net. Patrick Vieira did a nice job assisting Cambiasso.

After that it was a secured match for Inter and after Mario Balotelli’s 2-0 goal it was also over. The 17 year old attacker scored for the second match in a row and is now starting to look more and more as a threat to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s position as the #1 attacker.

Zlatan is not playing this weekend as we have already reported but according to Roberto Mancini the likelihood that Zlatan will play next weekend is very high.

Zlatan is still having problem with his knee after beeing in Sweden for expert help and the game against Lazio in March where he had to leave after 70 minutes. Today against Fiorentina Zlatan is not playing but Mancini is hoping that he can play next weekend against Torino.

Zlatan is still having problems with his knee and he will miss the Sunday match against Fiorentina. The Swedish top striker is not in the troop that Roberto Mancini presented today before tomorrows game.

Zlatan who also missed last match where Inter beat Atalanta with 2-0 is a little disappointed that he could not participate. Zlatan also turned down Swedens match against Brasil on the 26th of March. His fans were given a little hope when he was back in the league game against Lazio (1-1) on the 29th of March but he had to leave the field in the second half.

On the 25th of March Zlatan went to Sweden to visit the knee expert Håkan Alfredson in Umeå. He went there together with the Inter doctors. According to Alfredson Ibrahimovic has a problem with his knee but if he rests he should not need a surgery. Even though Zlatan had a small knee injury Inter Milans coach Roberto Mancini decided to start with Zlatan on top. After 69 minutes of playing Zlatan Ibrahimovic could not continue the match and was substituted.

Zlatan is the best attacker we have and he needs to play as much as possible if we are going to win the league.

One of the fans stated after the match. Let’s just hope that Zlatan does not play so much that he gets so injured that he can not play at all anymore.

In the match against Lazio he played together with Hernan Crespo and had a good chance to score a goal in the 27th minute but the shot was not good and the Lazio keeper Marco Ballotta could easily take it.

The game ended 1-1 after goals from Crespo and Rocchi.
